Biettec's doors are open to all people from all backgrounds. We have been training the unemployed since 1997. We were the first provider to introduce women only classes into Birmingham. Since then, we have grown to operate from five sites based in Small Heath, Sparkhill and Sparkbrook. We are able to offer a range of courses from the most basic of English programmes to work based learning courses that provide you with the skills needed to go further in your career.

We offer a variety of learning opportunities that are tailor made to suit you. Whether it be part time or full time, we can cater for your needs.

We work with local and national partners such as the Learning and Skills Council to bring you the best in training provision and because we adhere to strict government practices and procedures, you can be assured that the training you will receive is amongst the highest quality.

We have created a greatly diverse learning environment to enable our students to achieve to the best of their abilities. All of our tutors are fully qualified and our administration staff are always on hand to give you the best support.

Our mission is to engage the hardest to reach, unemployed, disadvantaged men and women from across all communities and introduce them to education and vocational skills training for work. We believe that such engagement builds confidence, enhances communication, encourages integration, develops life skills and benefits the society at large. We are constantly developing new schemes in line with the needs of the local labour market and aim to provide learning and skills training to match the needs of the local employers. We will provide separate gender training provisions to meet the cultural sensitivity of the minority people, especially women who lack confidence in participating in such training and education. Our aim is provide a high quality training service to our clients leading to accreditation, achievement and further progression into mainstream training and employment opportunities, which in turn, contributes to the economic and social regeneration of the communities that we serve.
