Advice and Guidance
With so much to choose from when deciding to study in the UK it can be a daunting task choosing which course is best. In addition to this the accommodation, Visa application process and other factors can become a field of information and decisions are difficult to make.
That is why our advisory team exists, they will benefit you in many ways. They can advice you on developing a plan for you to commit to and best identify which course is for you, your accommodation and living arrangements can be planned, immigration/visa/application issues, advise on and how to arrive at the Institute ensuring you have brought what you need.
They are just some examples of how we can help, should you need help or guidance on anything you should let us know. Please do not attempt to complete an application form or apply for a visa if you are unsure, you must ask to avoid delays and unnecessary costs.
A dedicated staff member will always be available to help you, so if you have not experienced using our advice and guidance service or are unsure do not worry, we are here to help.
Individual Learning Plans (ILP)
ILPs are simple easy to understand documents tailored around student needs, they are individually created for you on your course.
They set out your aims and objectives and monitor your progress. Both you and your tutor will make commentary on them to see how well you are doing, you can identify your strengths and where you need to improve on.
Throughout the year this document will be very useful to you and eventually will assist you in what the next step is after you finish your course.
